Sleep-Deprived

Because I have noticed my body getting weaker and there is not a single time whenever I get a chance to sit down in public transport or car, will I stay awake. NOT a single time. Will doze off given any possible chance.

Imagine how hard it is to keep myself awake doing all that boring jobscope.
When hearing/seeing people yawning (even MSN emoticons of Zzz and yawning), hearing or just by thinking of that word ‘sleep’, and I will have a sudden urge to sleep.
And once it got so serious, I had to go to the empty conference room at 3rd level to SLEEP.. but only slept for ten mins or so, cannot sleep in peace =X

YES, it is THAT exaggerating.
And, I finally accepted that I am very much sleep-deprived.

THEREFORE, I have set myself a goal last week – To be asleep by 12 am everyday!

It might be pretty simple for some.
BUT WHAT AM I DOING NOW – AT THIS TIME??! 

SHIT, I managed to keep to my goal for like, 2 days?
Someone, please coax me, remind me, or force me to go to bed.

Action will be appreciate, with thanks!!!

Options available:

  • A guy with a big fat bank account but who is a spender? OR
  • A guy with good financial habits?

My pick will be to marry a guy who have good financial habits even if at the moment, he does not yet have a fat bank account, rather than a guy with a fat bank account but who is obviously a big spender.
The fat bank account won’t last forever, but a guy with good financial habits (e.g. save 60%, spend 40%) will surely grow a bank account.

BUT If you were previously a big spender, it’s not too late of course.

People grow and matured with time, and time changes one’s mindset and thinking.
This is what I truly believe in.

Recently, I came across a quiz in Facebook for ‘the perfect wedding gown’.
Which brought me back to this once upon a time memory.

I recalled when I was a kid, wearing my mum’s high heels, draping my bath towel or blanket on myself, secretly putting on lip color, clipping on bling hair accessories and picturing myself as a pretty bride waiting for the prince charming to remove my veil.
This, I’m sure was once every little girl’s dream as they watch fairytales and experienced their aunts or cousins’ marriage.

I have always loved long wedding gowns and remembered how lovely all the brides looked as they are dressed in snow white, long flowy wedding gowns and wishing one day I’ll be like them.

But! As I grow older, I doubt this will ever happen to me because… ‘Why am I so short petite?!’
Wearing a long gown is gonna make me look even tinier, aww… childhood dream dashed.

Alright, so instead of the gorgeous pure white gown, I have decided to put on a short gown white dress. It’s not like I have much of a choice, unless I want to look like I’m stuck inside a pile of white clothing or does a pair of 10inch heels exist? I don’t think that will be feasible though even if there is.

But a wedding gown is NOT a wedding gown if it is going to be short.
It will just be like another party dress =(
It pales in comparison with the usual norm, of course.
Lucky there is the veil, else no one will recognise me as the bride. And that will be very disappointing.

Saxophone no doubt creates the most beautiful and romantic mood.
Piano makes a great complement too.

I wanted to learn Saxophone when I was still a kid, but I do not have that stamina of bringing out the rich music.
Hence I actually envy those that are able to make great soothing tunes out of Saxophone.

My favourite saxophone music? – Careless Whisper by Kenny G

When I heard that piece for the first time, I just fell in love with this emotional song that touches my heart and makes me think of that someone special. It is just so romantic.

Super nice!!! The OST is superb too.

I love Jan Di’s character, positive, bears with hardship and never gives up.
She is kind and also stands up to her beliefs, protective of friends and love ones.

Between the 4 guys (F4), I like Ji Hoo the most, the troubled and emotional guy who often appears in the drama with the melancholy look.
Perhaps it is because of his thoughtfulness and care that he shows Jan Di and never fails to turn up for her whenever she needs a shoulder to cry on.
He is also the first guy that make me think that some guys can actually look good with long hair.

最近心情很反覆无常。
一会儿开心，一会儿烦燥。一下哭泣，一下大笑。
不过多数的时间，会对着电脑发呆。。有时甚至忘了吃饭。。

傻瓜，我们都一样。。。被爱情伤了又伤

唉呀~ 感情这东西，简单的两个字，但意思可不简单哦！

相信每个人都已经尝过它的酸甜苦辣，但是还是有很多人对它感到陌生，有的被刺痛了，还想再陷下去。
反正这个话题，一言难尽。还是留到改天吧！

 
 记得我看过一句话，我觉得还挺有道理。。

也就是说，如果今天你一整天愁眉苦脸，并没有感到开心，那么，那一天就像是被浪费掉的一天。

人生本来就很短暂，就更应该珍稀每一天。
反正难过也是活着，快乐也是活着，倒不如活得开心点。 
你觉得有道理吗？

I’m experiencing serious moodswings (again) recently.
I can be laughing this minute, and tearing the next.
But most of the time, I would look blankly into my computer screen, I would even forget my meals sometimes.

Fools, we are alike. Getting hurt by Love time and again.

LOVE, a simple 4 letter word, but the meaning of it is so much of the reverse.
I believe most of you would have tasted the sweet, sour and bitterness of it. However, many are still lost in this game.
Even after getting hurt numerous times, they are back at it again, sinking themselves deeper into it.

This thing called Love, is not a topic that I can finish with a sentence or two. Perhaps another entry.

 
I remembered coming across this sentence which I think it is quite true.

A Day Spent Without Laughter is a Waste of Life.

Meaning, if one were to spend their day in sorrow, that day will seems to be wasted as nothing is accomplished.

As life is short, we should treasure each day.
Either way life goes on, why don’t we choose to live in happiness.
Do you think it is logical?

Haha, it’s been quite a long time since I wrote in Chinese, are you able to understand?

I feel like a teenager all over again because while catching 17 Again last night, I *gasps* fell in love with Zac Efron, or rather Mike O’Donnell (his character in the movie).
I almost bought the copy of Teens Magazine when I saw there is a Giant poster of him in this month’s. Luckily I held back, it’s been years since I read that magazine -_-…
As I read more about his profile, I realised that he is the same age as me!
And I was right, he acted in High School Musical (HSM) and Hair Spray. Maybe I’ll start watching the HSM series. lol!

But I’m very sure it is Mike O’Donnell that I’m in love with, not Zac Efron. Haha!

However, I felt a little jealous when I knew he had a girlfriend that he knew while acting together in HSM.
And they like to display their affections publically. Hmpf..

Wow! I just happened to saw this pair of similar design and color yesterday at the Swarovski counter at Takashimaya. They were retailing for a damn $130! and this pretty piece that I came across only cost $7.90!! lol~

Haha, of course the colour and appearance of the one at Swarovski are much brighter and shiner, they are genuine Swarovski Crystals and do cost 16x more afterall.
What you pay is what you get, but.. $130 for a pair of earrings is definitely Not for me =X
